Ok, here's a draft. Revise away.

Guild-Sponsored Raids
Given our recent raid attendance and the declining trends in that attendance over the last couple months, it’s clear that we will not be able to reliably field successful raids between now and the expansion. Rather than bang our collective heads against a wall for the next six weeks, we are halting our guild-sponsored raiding, effective immediately.
Thank you to everyone who has continued to come to the raids and contribute. It’s been fun running with you and enjoying this content together.

Guild Bank
The guild bank has been dedicated towards and largely funded by raiding efforts. Since many of the items currently in the guild bank will be significantly less useful once the expansion is out, it makes sense to liquidate the guild bank now and distribute the items and gold to members of the guild.
The value of significant items will be tallied and split among members proportionally based on EP. Highest EP will pick first. A smaller value of items will be distributed among non-raiding members. There is one case where a new member recently donated an item of high value. That item will simply be returned.

Other Opportunities
Several of us within the guild would like to continue raiding, right up until the expansion. The purpose of this is not loot, but merely to experience more of the Burning Crusade content before it becomes obsolete. Every Fury member is free to pursue or not pursue this goal in the manner of their choosing.
Fury officers have been in discussion with Equilibrium officers on how to secure continued raiding for as many of our current raiders as possible. Those who are interested and thoroughly prepared, and who have taken the last two weeks’ opportunity to raid with Equilibrium will now be able to join their guild. Those who are interested and thoroughly prepared, but have not yet raided with Equilibrium will receive a recommendation from us for admittance into their guild. Those who are either not prepared for T6 content or not interested in raiding, but who have conducted themselves well within Fury will receive a recommendation from us for admittance into EQ on a casual-only basis.
This is not a guild merger. It is an option for many of our members to join a guild that plans to continue raiding right up to the expansion. We regret that not all of our raiders will have the chance to continue raiding. We’ve done our best to provide as much opportunity for as many of our members as possible.

What’s Next for Fury
We expect that essentially all of the officers and strongest raiders will move over to Equilibrium. This will most likely be the end of Fury as a raiding guild or even as a guild at all. If someone within the guild would like to run what remains and build it back up again during the expansion, please send a tell to one of the officers and we’ll discuss it. If this is the end, then let me say that’s it’s been a hell of a ride. Thank you all for being a part of it.

Wow, quite a bit different, and more of a cold format than I was expecting. It's 3am now so my thought aren't clear on it. I'll revisit it in tomorrow.

Main thing for me was I though we were disbanding the guild. So the idea of turning it over to someone to turn into their alts guild or sub-standard casual raid guild bothers me. I'd prefer to see it disbanded than be stripped to a shell of a guild on this server.

There is one case where a new member recently donated an item of high value. That item will simply be returned.

Raiding members who qualified for a free epic gem but did not yet receive that epic gem will be able to pick one out prior to the disbursement.

What’s Next for Fury
We expect that essentially all of the officers and strongest raiders will move over to Equilibrium. This will most likely be the end of Fury as a progressing raiding guild, at least until after the expansion. At least one current Fury officer will remain until the transition is complete.

A number of members have expressed an interest in keeping Fury alive as a place for alts and members who are unable to join Equilibrium. We will explore this option, probably under a different name. Someone will need to lead the new guild. Valoron might be interested when he has internet access again. Angel has also expressed a willingness to lead. If anyone else is interested, please let us know. The remaining members will be consulted to determine who they prefer as a GM.

As one of the founding members of the original Fury, I can say that it's been a long, fun run. Thank you all for being a part of it.

Any thoughts on Angel's reply to this threat? I'm thinking it may not be a bad idea, as there are quite a few people that may want to stay...I won't be moving Jibba and Mal over to EQ just to name two...lemme know...

Ok Gallroth, I can't think of a better person to keep a GM title of a nub-tard alts guild than yourself! You deal with people's bullshit better than anyone in the guild, and Angellica could always be an officer.

Gallroth, you have my nomination!

Also, we have talked about changing the name of the guild so what Fury was built up to be remains that.

After lmao over the PUG Nation posts, and hearing Thana call any guild Gallroth would run, "PUG Nation"...think we've found a good new name for Fury!! jk

Vent was reduced to a 25 man channel server today. Paul will keep it available for guild use until the transition is complete, then the password will be changed. Our friends will still be allowed to use it, and they will be given the new password.

The website is Free, and with a shit-ton of work, (every post would have to be individually deleted), it could be restructured to the new guild name. But since people rarely use the website, and those of us going to EQ will be using their website, it would be easier to just delete this website! Thoughts?

I went through and declined all the qued apps, and started deleting QQ crap from various places, only to realize the 1 at a time delete system was going to take forever (then promptly stopped!)

My Quick Thoughts:

Tay and Thana, thanks for paying for vent all this friggin time.

It'll probably be easiest to let the new guild start a new website.

I vote we let the remaining members take over the guild. Angel is probably a fine choice, but I'd like to keep the matter open for a little longer to see if anyone else is interested. That way everyone can feel like they've had a chance to make themselves heard.

I'll probably move my alts over to my friends and family guild to spend a little more time playing with the GF. Although Gall, if you ever need a newbish mage, look me up.
