Kalecgos took two night of work, but he was finally freed from his demon. The encounter was messy, and most were dead by the end of the fight. However, Kalecgos marks the first boss in Sunwell Plateau, and he was achieved pre WotLK!

Mount Hyjal is Cleared, Archimonde Goes Down!

After 2 miss-pull oopses, it took another 7 rounds to down Archimonde, with 24 people in the raid! The fight is more about keeping yourself alive then it is about DPS. Prior to the 3.0.2 patch, if even one raid member died, it caused a wipe. That was not the case last night. We had one death in the raid at 65% health, and we were still able to kill Archie. Next week we are moving on to Sunwell Plateau.

It took 12 rounds to finally kill Illidan, but we he did die on the first night working on him. Lione, with his fire resist gear was brought in to replace Calras (after about eight attempts without the use of FR gear)! The FR gear made the difference, and Illidan became a push-over. Now with BT fully cleared, sights are set on Archimonde, and then moving on into Sunwell Plateau.

The nerfs made in 3.0.2 have made Black Temple incredibly easy. It is still fun to see the fights, even with the challenge removed! The next goal is to fully clear BT in one night! From there, a full clear of Mount Hyjal and a peek at Sunwell Plateau will be fun!!

Our first "Guild First Kill" as members of Equilibrium. Bloodboil went down on our forth attempt of the night. The raid included eleven former Fury/Spiritus Mundi members, whose names have been underlined above. Great job everyone!

Tay and Thana, thanks for paying for vent all this friggin time.

It'll probably be easiest to let the new guild start a new website.

I vote we let the remaining members take over the guild. Angel is probably a fine choice, but I'd like to keep the matter open for a little longer to see if anyone else is interested. That way everyone can feel like they've had a chance to make themselves heard.

I'll probably move my alts over to my friends and family guild to spend a little more time playing with the GF. Although Gall, if you ever need a newbish mage, look me up.

Yes Valoron, there is room to bring you over to EQ. Since you are not playing atm, you can be brought over as a Bystander for now, and then choose to app into the raid group when you can be online regularly again! As one of Furys best healers, you should have no problem joining the raid team. Invites to EQ are suppose to begin later tonight (Monday), sometime after 9pm server time. Log on when you can to move your characters over.

The whole purpose of moving over now is to finish BT before the expansion, and then have a group of competent people to level and raid with in the expansion. Running with EQ these past couple weeks has been a blast! People understand the fights without hours of explanation, there has not been any QQ so far, and the nub-tard factor is less overall. Hopefully we'll see Archemond and Illidan downed soon!

Also, when you can be online again, you have currency to spend in the guild bank! If you are not online to choose stuff soon, we'll send some stuff to you.

Guild Bank Distribution

We used the wowecon addon to tally the value of significant items in the guild bank. Many items were not included and will be left behind for the remaining guild members.

We totalled about 45K gold worth of items in the guild bank, exlcuding crappy stuff. We actually totalled about 46K gold, but we rounded down to account for people who have not yet received their free epic gem.

There is 293,000 EP outstanding, excluding folks who only have their beginning 1-1000 roll.

This totals out to .153 gold worth of items and gold per point of EP.

Since most of the value in the guild bank comes from items, each person will be asked to take at least half of their value in items.

Distribution will begin immediately. Since we need to get through many people, if a person is not online when their turn comes up, we'll move on to the next person and the original person will go when they're on. If we get to the end of the list without someone having logged on, their spot will be forfeited.

Something I mentioned but just want to make sure I stress.

Those that are interested in raiding with Equilibrium please please please make sure to go over our policies and procedures by reading the threads in the following forum: http://www.eq-ysera.com/viewforum.php?f=3

I know there is a lot of information there, but for the most part it is pretty straightforward, and should answer a number of your questions and give you some preparation for raiding with Equilibrium.

Regarding required mods, everyone that raids with us is REQUIRED to be running Omen, Deadly Boss Mods, oRA2, and PallyPower if you're a Paladin. We will stop the raid and wait for you to get them if you don't have them installed when you show up, so please be proactive if you aren't already running them and get them before the raids start.

Yeah. There are some really stale memebrs remaining, so we could do even more cleanup if we want. I only removed alts of folks who've left, but I think it's reasonable that unless you're on military delpoyment or something, you should at least log your character on once a quarter.

20 subjects. ok that´s too much.
but ok let me address one by one.

1) Raid schedule: as it is we never have the healers, mainly because even u ,gall, cannot attend all raids, and test and val r not there ever. So we have to keep with other healers which ends...with the hard decision btw wipes ( and maybe a boss kill...with low chances of success but nevertheless some chances) or doing farm content. Also when we do have the healers normally we dont have the tanks...like a pally tank for Hyjal when both Gisa and Durell dont make it. Which happens often as we all know.

So there is the option of pushing on this deal with Equilibrium so we can knock 2 issues at once. 1 is the lack of raid attendance, if u dont show, good bye we have others wanting. 2 is the lack of specific composition, with more options we can form the best raid possible and even a 3rd reason, we can let go of the dead weight ( ppl who complain, ppl who underperform, ppl who gets on our nerves...).

If we dont act on that behalf, these next few weeks will be even harder, with the release of warhammer, wow will lose some players, even with blizz doing what it can to minimize it. With that,the option to wait for Wotlk sounds promising, and as tay and thana, i could just raid with Jaguar or not at all.

2) We have things to settle. I even forgot about the farming effort...and the funniest thing was that some of us were the beginners of that thing....and then Rae, which recently joined the deal, starts to complain...anyways she is right in 1 point. its about time we deal with this issue and finish it off.

3)On guild bank rates, i believe 1/2 AH is more than enough, most of the time u cant cut those deals even if u look around...so they r cheap...and they help get ppl the shadow resist gear they will need. So if we have raiding as a possibility, specially with the effort with Equilibrium, we can plan ahead and keep as it is...or if we r pushing for wotlk and joining the casual side ...then u could give it for free, 1/4...toss at the vendor...whatever...if we r not working till the xpac i dont see a reason on the stacking at all. For the ppl with problems on making money on this game....(like u Gall always tells me) seriously ur poor because u want to :P

4) Alright on fucktards and problem makers. Seriously tay, rae is exactly as u described, but as some ppl believe, i dont believe one bad apple compromises the rest in this case. She is double faced most of the time...tells one thing here another entirely different behind u. But as she is like that, others r as well... i, tired of asking ppl to be honest. most ppl just r cowards and cant tell things directly. So at least for being blunt i say congratulations for Rae. At least its clear now how she is.
Like i dont see the point in gkicking her....cause if id open that door for her....id have to add more to the fold. GLADLY DEATH DID IT BY HIMSELF. ( UHUU lets party)
But if u all agree on starting to use that command , id join u in it gladly.

5) AHA So as i Said before Warhammer will arrive soon. I have been playing on the beta since sunday, that´s why i have been away. ( today i am at my bf's house, installing internet programs and stuff here, since he finally got cable at his house.) iM LOVING IT. the game is really cool, its different, its new, its cute.. anyway so until my fever passes... if it passes, ill be a little away from wow during weekdays. and more for raids, help, and weekends.
So 3 things: if u need me, post here, if u wanna discuss things among officers, post here, we can talk here.
And third, tay if u need my help ingame, let me know, e-mail. the mail system here, anything. as idont have a mic here at pablo's i cant join vent today. But i have tried logging at vent every day to talk to ppl, even as i play WAR.

LMAO Gall. very funny!

I vote for G-kick of Raevan. She's caused problems in other guilds forcing them to fall apart, and now she doing it in this guild. Seems to be her MO. She has been with us since the merger on May 10, geared several characters & alts (Bellisama was her mage that her hubby plays on occasion, Nevaya, Raevan, and the hunter she put back into her personal guild after having received several guild bank items to help gear it up.) She has been given items from the guild bank, changed characters from Holy Pally to Boomkin stating she vendered all the gear on the pally, and now hates the Boomkin. She's an attention starved, head case who feeds on drama, and I am not interested in humoring her by reworking the guild to suit HER needs. If this guild is going to go forward drama free, she needs to go, and any that follow her out will be making their own beds.

As for gems, we can talk about reworking the policy since epic gems drop in SWP everyday now. What I don't want to see is people asking to buy them, only to turn around and sell them for profit on the AH.

As for EPGP, Marcol, Durell and I all discussed a solution for it and I'll work on the master list for all officers to review before it's posted to the general forums.

As for donating stuff to the guildbank then demanding $$....WTF??

Avelmili should be next in line for a Shadow Rsist set, and that will consume another 2000g for the Hearts and a lot more of the primals, etc. the same as it did to get Durell his set.

As for the new group of applications we now have, it is not fair to keep recruiting when the current group is fighting and/or not showing up for raids! We need to find a way to push forward hard, or pull it back to non-raiding until expansion. As for now, without healers, we are screwed raid wise and the apps are more undergeared people looking for T4 & T5.

Also if you didn't know this already, Paul and I pay for vent, and we have for the past 1.5 years totaling approx $540 over that length of time. The current vent subscription expires on about Oct 10, and we are not renewing it for Fury to use. It's time someone else pays for it, or we get a PayPal link going for members to donate money to the vent fund, which is $24 month. As for the guild website, it's completely free so it's not going anywhere, and the owner of the site can easily be changed to whoever wants to be responsible for maintaining it.

In all actuality, I'm not at all pissed about this. However, if I want to see more of the content, I will have to look elsewhere to do that. So Paul and I are applying to a couple guilds with Faery and Thanatis. The guilds we are looking at have raid schedules that do not conflict with Fury's, and we'll leave Tayghan and Khelos here for Fri & Sun (if the raids continue to happen). This is similar to Sathyra playing Jaguar in Midknights, so relax, we are still around. We haven't been accepted into any guilds yet, but we are submitting apps tonight/this week. This is an interim decision until the expansion, at which time I hope we can get a solid 10 man raid group going, and nix the fucktards from it.
